This week in career exploration we researched two finance careers. My first was Credit Analysts the second Personal Financial Advisors. There are so many simularities first, task are almost the same a couple different. Then there tools and technology are the same so are Intrests. They get paid around the same $86,000 a year. The difference is Education Required and Knowledge Skills and abilities. This week in my career exploration class the Career Cluster we researched was Government and Public Administration. The first one was Architectural and Engineering Managers this is a cool job the make alot around $114,600. They olan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as architecture and engineering or research and development in these fields. The second career was an ecomomists the make good money any wher around $107,300. They conduct research, prepare reports, or formulate plans to address economic problems related to the production and distribution of goodds adn services or monetary and fiscal policy. May collect and process economic and statistical data using sampling technigues and econometric methods. If I had to choose one of these two Careers it would be Architectural and Engineering Managers.

This week in career exploration we researched two career clusters Agriculture and Education and Training. If I so, far had to choose a career cluster it would be a Agriculture. My dad is a farmer and he works at the local mill as a Plant Manager. My mom is the shipping and receptionist at the local seed department. They make good money. The jobs in education were a teacher and a coach that don't make much money. In agriculture the careers I choose Supervisor over Agriculture crop and Precision Agriculture technicians. We also shared our Education and Technician on Tuesday with the class. Yesterday, we had Mr. Heckendorn the student teacher in student service's. He had us choose a career on the complete opposite color. I had to choose Park ranger they don't make enough money. It seems like it is a very boring job they just drive around in the park and look for mesteryious signs that harm animals in the national, state, or local park. Sincerley, Mr. N P.S. GOOD ART OR BAD ART

Last week in my carrer cruising class we researched the ARTS cluster. What I learned it is like the buisness management and administration cluster if you don't like to go outside and just sit in side all day it is for you. The two carrers I choose are Photographer and a Radio Operator they seem super boring. I think if anything art is a bad cluster. MY TRUE COLORs

Yesterday, we did the true color assessment. I found out that my best color is blue with 18 points. In second is green and orange tied with 16 points. Last but not least is yellow with 10 points. My color was blue which means, " I am enthusiastic, sympathetic, personal, warm, communicative,calm, laid back, compassionate, idealistic,spiritual, sincere, peaceful flexible and imaginative. What this mense to me is the job i want needs to be around this. The thing my second color has against my first is it's green, which is wise and orange which is outgoing and interactive. I do need smarts for what I want to be and orange is the opposite of blue.

True Colors for my Teachers

Today, my career exploration class we study the assestment True Colors we will be, doing more with it next week. My teacher asked use to pick four teachers to choose their colors. First, Mr. Boyars he is a blue and gold because, he is organized and laid back. Second, is Mrs. Wilson she is gold and orange because, she is organized but, you have to pay attention in her class. Third, is Mr. Aydt he is blue and green because, his is wise and laid back. Fourth, is Mrs. Howard she is blue and gold becuase, she is organized and laid back. He alsoed asked use to talk about four friends. First, is Andrew he is blue and gold. He is organized and laid back. Second, is Josh he gold and wise because, he is organized and wise. Third, Sammy he is a blue and orange because, he is laid back and when, he does a sport you want to pay attention especially track. Fourth, there is Salem he is blue because, he is laid back.

This week in my career exploration class we researched the career cluster Business, Management and Administration. The career I choose Legal Secretaries and Budget Analysts. The job description for Legal Secretaries is perform secretarial duties using legal terminology, procedures, and documents. Prepare legal papers and correspondence, such as summonses complaints and motions. The job descriptions of the Budget Analysts is exaine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting and accounting reports. The skills of the Budget Analysts are Economics and Accounting, English Language, Mathematics, Administration and Management, Computers and Electronics, Clerical, Active Listening, Reading Comprehension, Speaking, Critical Thinking, Judgement and Decision Making, Mathematical Reasoning, Near Vision. The skills of the Legal Secretary are Clerical, English Language, Law and Government, Computers and Electronics, Customer and Personal, Administration and Management, Writing, Reading Comprehension, Active Listening, Speaking Critical Thinking, Coordination, Time Management, Social Perceptiveness. STYLE NOT SWAG

Well Mr. B. my style is tactile which is hands on working. It means that the best way I learn is hands on instead of auditory and visual. The way it impacts my learing is that when, a teacher is just talking I don't really get what he/she is saying but, when they do something hands on the message goes through to me. When I am out of highschool the job I want is going to have to be hands on instead of not liking my jobs. Haaaavvveee fun with reading this Mr. B.

Architecture and Construction

This week in my Career Exploration class we researched Architecture and Construction. We all had to choose two jobs. The two jobs I choose are Railroad track laying and Mine Roof Bolter. The one i would want to do in the future is Mine Roof Bolter. They are the second person in the mine. They are also on the top 50 dangerous jobs. They use multiple technologys and tools. They use big drills, 10 to 15 foot bolts and metal supports. They also use computers that draw it up and GPS. The other job was Railroad track laying they build railroads. They use muiltiple technology and tools. They use cranes that run on tracks and road. They also use the gps and leveling system.

!CONNECTIONS!

This week my careers were a Mortician, Undertaker, and Funeral director the other one was a bartender. The cluster was Human Services. The reason I think they are together is because, a Mortician deals with helping people get over there loss and a Bartender helps people get over there loses by drowning it in alchol. The main connection is that they deal with people and helping them. They also have to be kind and fast at what they do. They also need to know what they are doing because, if a Mortician doesn't have a pastor or priest there at the funeral and a Bartender needs to know how much alchol and fruit or other beverages. This is the connections.

WHY STEM!

We choose it to be the same because, the academie is the same thing because, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathmatics. Most jobs deal with this. If you are a doctor you need science and technology. An accountant uses technology and mathmatics. A teacher can use any of these depending what they teach. This is why they named it the same.

Something I think is neat is that when I researched that Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security and then Health Science are not alike that much. I also figured out that I defintely don't want to be a Urologist because, of what they do. I think if I will do anything between, these two I will do Health Science and in that Cluster I will be a Maxillofacial and Oral Specialtist. The only thing I did see a connection between them on one thing and that was an EMT because it was under Public Saftey and Health science. Between, Manufacturing and Health Science there is no connection. Information and Technology and Health Science there is a connection because, Information Technology you have to use computers and most of the Health Science jobs you have to use computers for information they don't write it down any more. Hospitality and Tourism and Health Science are sort alike because, Hospitality and Tourism deals with people trying to help people and Health Science deals with helping and saving people just like Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security and then Health Science.
